Tread Lightly on Our Traditions

A painting by Zhaawano Giizhik accompanied by a poem of Phil Meshekey, titled "Thread Lightly on our Traditions."

Tread lightly upon our traditions, for they are gentle moccasin tracks across our mother's heart, trying to remind us of that it has its way of breathing in the humility, the response & ability, to exhale what's not always there visually, and the blood flows with every smile, nothing's possible, but nothing's impossible, when we laugh we're indestructable, and our stiff anger can become happily flexibel.

- Words by Phil Meshekey.
